1784 8 reales, Viceroyalty of New Spain, Mexico City mint. The variety is scarce as it is the last appearance of the initials F.F. (assayers Francisco de la Peña and Francisco Arance Cobos) on the Mexico City 8 reales.

1784 8 reales, Viceroyalty of New Spain, Mexico City mint. This is the more common variety that starts to feature the initials F.M. (for Francisco Arance y Cobos and Mariano Rodríguez).

new silver money for the confederation Belgium - Utrecht .Was there a pact with the confoederati of 'Belgium' and Utrecht ?I have some coins of this period, but know nothing of the history.I know only coins of the confoederati Belgii for 1790.So , who were the confoederatii? For the inscription , I think it has to be :moneta nova argenti pro confoederatione belgii traiecto or traiecti.Who knows more of this history?albert
