I have to 'run some errands' but in anticipation of Echizento 'clicking over' from the 13 thirties to the 13 twenties (in the next couple of hours or so), here is my contribution. Great Britain - King Edward III - 1327-1377 Silver 'Groat' (four pence) AG26 Sear 1617 Edward was crowned at age fourteen after his father was deposed by his mother and her lover Roger Mortimer. At age seventeen he led a successful coup against Mortimer, the de facto ruler of the country, and began his personal reign. After a successful campaign in Scotland he declared himself rightful heir to the French throne in 1337 but his claim was denied due to the Salic law. This started what would become known as the Hundred Years War. Following some initial setbacks the war went exceptionally well for England; victories at Crecy and Poitiers led to the highly favourable Treaty of Bretigny. EdwardIII transformed the Kingdom of England into one of the most formidable military powers in Europe. His long reign of fifty years also saw vital developments in legislation and government—in particular the evolution of the English parliament—as well as the ravages of the Black Death. (Per Wikipedia) We got here! Over to you Chrsmat71.

The reason why I'm posting 2 coins is that both are 1323-24 Hungarian Denars under King Charles Robert. The first one is a variant with a reverse shield. The second one Huszar 446,Unger 362,CNH-2-054A. The first one is Huszar 446,Unger 362 variant,CNH-2-054A. http://www.forumancientcoins.com/ga...p?album=5329
