Quote: To be honest, we didn't even pass the 1170s properly (which I sadly hadn't noticed in time) How about we have a little compromise of sorts. You can continue to post coins of the previous decade every time we move on. Ex. We move on to the 1140's; and you can post a coin from the 50's . When you do that, just please remember to say " here is one from the 50's" This would give people two days to post( as suggested by Petrus) and would not mess with our swift march through the decades.

And this is my last one.correction: found another I have some roman coins, but they are not presentable. This is byzantine coin (I think) 1143-1180 Manuel Comnenus (St George with spear and shield)? monogram Loros # sb1977 Manuel I AE Half-Tetarteron. Monogram / Bust of Manuel facing, beardless, wearing crown and loros, and holding labarum and globe cross.

This is a 2 tsien from the Nan-Sung dynasty, Chien-Yen epoch (1127 - 1130). Emperor Kao Tsung. I am not sure I have the spelling correct, some of this was translated from German.
