Hello everyone I was just wondering if the rest of my 1963 red Unc canadian pennies would be considered a semi hanging 3 or? One of the coins in the roll was a definite triple hanger and since it was all made from the same die each penny represents a hanging three look above the 3
You really have to look at each one. The cents came from the mint that year in bags, so the roll was made up later. Probably all from the same bag. Perhaps not. I recently went through some original unopened 1960s bank rolls and to my surprise found two different adjacent dates in some of them. So it was clearly assembled from different dies!
oh now I understand ! thanks, but form the looks of it each every penny in that roll has the same semi hanging line from the top of the 3 therefore wouldnt these pennies in particular be from the same or similar die ?
