I have a RP9 in an old embossed AU55 ICCS DP2 holder, that isn't a DP2. Even Brian got it wrong occasionally.

Rob, I too have seen ICCS mis-attribute DP 9 #2s (and others), but this one is particularly puzzling because it is so far off the mark. Come on, #2s are not that hard -- something like shooting fish in a barrel. If the coin in the holder is really the one they attributed, they completely missed the barrel!!

I, too, find it extremely hard to believe that Brian or his son missed this by that far. Either a switch was made, or the wrong cardboard went into the wrong flip. As Jim says: vanilla

PCGS was worse. For many years they put many different RP9's into DP2 holders. Some of the best finds I ever made were in those holders. Now they are better at it.
