Hello I am new to this forum but have been working on the currency side for a couple of months. I am retired and not an experienced coin collector. My father had a collection most of his life. He passed away in 1995 and my mom followed in 2010, I then inherited what was left of his collection. In his retirement he sold some of the coins and bills he had.

When I retired a few months ago, I finally got to work on researching and learning all I could about the currency and coin I had inherited. I now have a good camera for coin pictures although I am much to learn about that skill. But I will post of few coins I have questions on.

I am born and raised in the USA, but have traveled extensively throughout the world due to my job requirements of the past. My wife and I have been married for over 47 years, we raised three kids and now have 6 grandchildren.


I look forward to the forum and the shared experiences and knowledge we all will share..

Chris here from Louisiana, collector for a few years now, have kind of been all over the place buying and selling,currently working on a full Buffalo nickel collection, all as close to MS as I can get...going to be a long expensive road but it will be fun!
