I have just started trying to collect coins. ..Well I love looking for that one special coin that will make me rich!I joined so I could hopefully get some questions answered since it can be a very daunting task searching online for different errors on different coins. I also am wanting to start collecting for my kids so they can learn about a fun lifetime hobby. I'm fairly new to coin collecting but not to collecting in general. I collect prehistoric pottery from the Americas, Antique documents (Pre-Civil War US and North America British Colonies & Maritime) and now coins... mostly Pre-Civil War used in what is now the US though I also like middle ages Europe and Roman Coins. (I'm an inclusive collector rather than an Exclusive one...... or as my girlfriend says... a Hoarder) Lissa, my girlfriend collects toned Washington silver quarters. Quick question at the outset here. I have been a poster at 'another' forum and found them to be quite irritating and very close minded. Don't want to say who (but CT could be a clue). I found them to be 'upper classed' so and so's and I don't want the same thing in me next forum that I hope to call home. So, is this place like them?
