trdhrdr007 Pillar of the Community United States 2335 Posts	Posted 10/11/2007 10:55 am I'm going to my first coin show tomorrow, the Whitman Coin & Collectibles show in Atlanta. I've got my list of coins I want, but I've been thinking it might be nice to have a US gold coin. I've done a little price checking at Teletrade & Harlan J Berk & it looks like I might be able to pick something up in the EF to AU range for less than $200. Can anyone tell me the weights of the $2.50 & $5 coins? I'd like to have an idea of bullion value compared to asking prices. I'll be looking at common dates & feel like prices shouldn't be too much of a premium to bullion value. Report this Post to the Staff
