Jeffrose, what is the variety of your coin? It's very important because the Chinese counterfeiters used a coin of this variety as the base coin for their slew of 1815-1828 Capped Bust quarter counterfeits. Diagnostic: die chip/crack pointing from the second star.

TypeCoin - I have no idea of the variety on the quarter. I wouldn't think it's counterfeit unless they were cranking them out in the early 60s when I bought it. Attached is close up of stars 1-3.  GERMANICVS - Thanks. I haven't mentioned it previously but every time I see a thread that you originated I have to check it out. You have a great collection.

I'm guessing is a 1818 B-10. Obv. Triple Dentils under 1 Rev. I3 under space between A1 and T3. OF is close to AMERICA. R3
