I am at my bank today and asked for some halves and the teller brings out a box of halves saying someone brought in $250 yesterday. I glanced at them and noticed a few rolls you could see the face on them. The date was hidden but it was a kennedy. I noticed that it was whiter than normal and looked at the date, 1964. So I bought all the coins. Looked further and saw a franklin on one end. After I get back I start unwrapping the halves. I get 2 still shotgun rolls of Kennedy 1964 half dollars, $142.5 Walking Liberty half dollar$87.50 in Franklins. 180 Ounces of silver for $250. What a good find.  |

Epic score you find any key or semi key dates? That's a once in a lifetime score. Nice.

Not really any key/semi key dates. Did find a few AU and one MS walking liberty, which is very hard to come by nowadays.
I don't think if I could ever do that again

Almost 3K in melt value alone. Any numismatic value is gravy. Not bad for $250!

Yeah that is true. I plan on holding these until silver goes back up. Just think if it went back to $45 an ounce.
I am just amazed with the find.
