Condor - Are you the author of a detailed description of PCGS and NGC slab history on another coin forum? If so, it is very informative.

PCGS was much stricter back then than they are now, so people like these holders because they can crack the coin out and resubmit it and they have a really good chance of the coin coming back with a higher grade.
