Eisenhower Bicentennial Type 1? - Coin Community Forum

Mr Click Pillar of the Community United States 964 Posts	Posted 09/25/2015 10:28 am I've found a lot of Eisenhower Bicentennial Type 1 Coins. All of them are Denver Mint. I just found a Type 1 without a mint which means its from Philly. Is this a rare coin? Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

It's worth a little more than the other bicentennial but it really jumps at ms 66 or higher so unless it's perfect then no its not rare. Denver minted 21,048,710 of the Variety 1 and 82,179,564 of the Variety 2. So the Philly Variety 1 looks rare, relatively speaking. However, the prices do not reflect it, since there are plenty for those who collect Eisenhower dollars.
