Looks like a US VF-XF, with scratches- UK grading would be lower

Some varieties exist for this coin I see... (I have a penny the same year that I was looking at earlier today)

There are two varieties of Trident (ornamental and plain) also a variety with the 4 over a 3. Mintage is 6,720,000 for this coin (considerably higher than other years so I guess no real surprise my coin is the same year as yours.

Ignoring the scratches I would say VF, not sure how much they impact things... its still a nice lump of copper though.

Its not V/F and not close and only poor at best.

A few varieties for the year but this not one.

It also has verd so maybe keep seperately and easy to find one much better.

Its quite a common year and should get a really nice one for £70
