Only able to get a little over $100 face today. 34.8x face. I cleaned out all that they had left.

Friday Oct 24 silver close: $48.66
At that price silver should be 35x
Yesterday, Oct 25 at NH Coin Expo in (Manchester NH) a major dealer and show sponsor was selling 90% at 32x and buying at 30x. He said the refiners are paying 31x.
Looks like market is edgy, waiting to see what happens, nobody wants to get stuck with silver at 35x.

I think 90% at 35x face is going to be a bargain in the not too distant future.

At a recent English auction, junk sterling silver Victoria thru 1919 halfcrowns, florins, shillings in grades poor to VG, fetched melt before buyer's premium was added, so about 30% over melt. I saw no rare dates. I make that 156 X face. Lots hammered between £400 and £700 so it's presumably dealers buying. |

Just got back from my LCS. Picked up 195.00 face 90% at 37.9x. Melt right now is 38.29x.

LCS states they are buying at $31x and selling at $36x. He told me the wholesale buy and sell numbers, but I didn't pay attention.

Got some yesterday for 36.5x face. Mostly Kennedys and Franklins with very little wear.
