It's a nice coin and probably worth about $10 or slightly more. As for how much I would pay? Around $8 or so.

Good shape, I'd go 10-12.

Would need better photos, coin may of been tampered with ..... I see some discoloration and perhaps scratches on obverse .... With the 09 VDB it is a fairly common coin in AU, I would seek a better example!

Well the Wheats are my passion of coin collecting. I'd probably pay 12 as well if they asked for it but I'd probably gun for 8-9

Maybe it is just the picture but the VDB doesn't look right to me. The V is clear but the D and B seem to be missing or damaged and that section of the coin is dis colored.

Coin in question has problems. Find a better example of this otherwise common coin.

Agreed.
Something has been done to the coin at that point.

These are really easy to find in the higher AU grades, sometimes with a hint of red still remaining around the devices and with no problems in the $15-$20 range. And there are kazillions of those. I'd wait for finding a better example.

$8 to $12 is OK but does that include postage, handling, insurances, etc.? If so, price could get a lot higher.

The price spread on these from G to MS is very tight. Personally, I wouldn't bother with one unless it was in mint state.

.99 isn't a bad price... I bought one for much more than that a couple weeks ago just because I've never had one before and just had to have one.

I would think you would want the V D B to be fairly pristine.
