No such coin was ever minted. I paid for the coins and received copper coins plated with silver. Can anyone please advise me how to stop ebay from paying this cheater from Spain, luciacoins.
File an "item not as described" case explaining the problem. This can be done over the web or with a little research you can find a phone number for ebay and do it with a live representative. Personally, I like talking to a live person about such matters. Give as many details and proof as possible as to why these coins are fake and not what you paid for. The decision will then be left up to ebay about the outcome of the case. If you paid by credit card, you can place a back charge on it. I've had several instances in the past where I received items that weren't as described and have always been able to recoupe the funds.
The only good news is that it looks like China has some competition. But really, I do understand your heartache at getting nailed by such a thief. ebay will take care of you. Just be darned sure to file before the expiration time to do so.
