Believe it or not, CRHing wasn't all that productive even 50 or 60 years ago. Sure, you found a lot of stuff, but it wasn't worth much of a premium back then. As I have noted on the forum before, I could usually put together the entire WLH set from circulation over 3-4 months in the mid-1950s (albeit with the early keys worn), but I couldn't afford to keep them with the high face value, so I would just turn them back in and start over or keep up with my LWC hunt. True story.
