Pictured below is a Nickel I found that seems to
have "hanging A" and either a large chip or extra metal
on the "N".
The Faux Pas?
I forgot which year it is.
So,can anyone tell me if its a know error
or am I searching my collection.

Not even sure its a nickel.

Thx in advance

I'd even narrow it down to 1948-1950, the planchet doesn't seem chromed.
