Talisman posted the set for sale. Priced USD 529.
In their add they claiming that: In 2012 Canada took out Penny from circulation, but never demonitized it. And these (coins from the set) Pence are Legal Canadian Tender.
It is truth....but so insignificant, imo. Just enough to know that it is the coin and not "round" or token or medalion.

That's quite an appealing deal for sure. The set $529 USD is guaranteed to be worth face value 5 Canadian cents.

@Rg500
I took the screen shot and sent it to my rep as well: I titled the subject matter "A picture is worth a thousand words". He did not respond.

For those who got the promo and used it, which dragonfly coin did you get?

Didn't get it yet but it is suppose to be "1/2 oz. Fine Silver Coloured Hologram Coin - The Pygmy Snaketail - Mintage: 10,000 (2015)"

@New1954 Your rep tried to ignore you. lol. I cancelled my Penny Set from RCM this morning & ordered from Colonial Acres for CAD$674.50, no 7% tax, free shipping.

Thanks onecad. Appreciate the answer. I'm assuming that is what appears on the order confirmation/tracking page (note the promo shows a pic of the Snaketail but the text says Green Darner).
On the topic, has anyone figured out which penny is the actual one being produced? I.e. the latest mint pics or the originals.
I'm surprised no one has asked the question on the Mint website. I did but it will probably be days before they answer and likely the answer won't address the question. lol

It should be the other way around, people who order the most coins should get the offer as a reward for their loyalty. I am not sure but someone mention that the offer was available to the public if they went to the RCM site on the weekend. There were banners that advertised the deals. Did anyone see it? Also, if people added coins to the cart worth more than $550 the free coins showed up. Apparently this was like a flash sale. You missed it and it was gone. The only problem was people who already bought the penny set and wanted the free coins had to wait until Monday to talk to their reps to take advantage of the free coins. But the offer ended midnight Sunday.

I think you're correct, this was likely available to everyone, problem is if you're dealing with a rep they don't want you getting emails where you can order online because they likely don't get a cut. Just my guess.
If you have a rep are you receiving emails for such promotions?

@onecad,
I received an email for the last promotion for getting free coins but not this time. Last time the offer was not as generous, you did not get a $279 gold coin.

I never receive any offers. I am platinum prestige. I was on RCM website this weekend and no offers were seen. The only time my rep gave me the offer was when I ordered online. Then he became involved and offered it to me. Sheesh.

I'm platinum with rep and got this offer in an email. I haven't bought anything since the new MC cycle started. It seems random as to who got this offer. It's possible that anyone that bought enough, got the free coins added automatically, even without getting the email.
