For as long as I can remember my dad has been heavily involved in buying/collecting silver coins, and it seems I definitely got the "silver coin" gene. He taught me the basics to coins / collecting but I never really cared to learn more than that until a little over a year ago. Thats when I could finally afford to start buying coins on my own. Needless to say I realized it is WAY more fun to work on my own collection than it was helping my dad work on his. I have SOOOO much more to learn though but I think joining this community will definitely set me in the right direction. Right now in my collecting days I am completely in love with US 90% coins, particularly Franklin halves at this very moment. I LOVE those things.
