Hello everyone. My friend just got some error coins back from being graded and I thought it would be nice to do a show and tell.

He was also wondering what they may be worth for insurance purposes.

Here we go!

Beauties! I will take a stab at the market values:

1c on 10c blanks - $400 each (they sell on ebay from $300-$600)
1c on New Zealand blank - $100
25c on 10c - $200
$2 double clip - no idea
25c on 1c - $500

There has been a 1995 cent-on-dime on ebay for sale for quite a while at $435 with no takers. It is lower grade.

In the holders with those grades they could get $400, but I would say a range of $275 to say $450. They are both tougher but known dates. I would agree with the New Zealand price. Maybe $150 in the holder.

The 1992 25c struck on 1c planchet is gorgeous... error values are all about eye-appeal and wow factor. That would be a $800 error in my opinion. I consulted the twoonie expert, he says the double clip is worth about $300 (being MS-64 grade). The 1c on 10c planchets are worth about $300 each.
