Bicentennial Eisenhower Dollar Proof Question

TJ1200c New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 04/21/2008 5:15 pm I've been collecting the Eisenhower dollars for the last month or so. Today I purchased the Dansco album for the set and I see that there are 4 proof spots for the Bicentennial Ike's. A variety I & II which I'm sure are for the 2 clad versions I have, and 2 more sports for the 1976 40% B.U. and the 40% Proof. Did they make a Blue and Brown Ike for the Bicentennial? How were each of the S mints Ike's from the Bicentennial released? Any help would be appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

The 1976-S 40% Silver Proof Ikes were part of a special three coin (Dollar, Half, Quarter) 40% Silver Proof Set. There was an Uncirculated Silver set as well (where you can get the 1976-S 40% Silver UNC Ike).
