This coin has a lot of damage on front and back. I know it is a 1953 cause we never had coins from 953. What do you guys think and get all your input.

I think that poor coin got beaten and dragged around. It's just damaged.

Check that mint mark. Looks a bit like a possible RPM perhaps. Coin itself isn't pretty and the 1 just took a bad hit.
