Quote: KenKat - Great stuff as always, but I think that '27-S needs upgrading. First coin of yours I didn't immediately like. It is on the list but the 27-S I wanted to buy was several hundred dollars more so this one had to do for now. 27-S is pretty tough in uncirculated. This one does look a little better in hand but not 100% happy with it either! Just need to win the lottery

Uncirculated coins seemed to get much easier starting with 1929. There's the 31-S that is a key but there's plenty out there available. 31-D is another but not nearly as tough as some of the D and S mints from the teens and twenties before 29.
