I have received a coin collection along with some banknotes a few years back. Didn't pay much attention to these as I have been working on the stamp collection I also received.
The coins I assume are somewhat straight forward as far as identification goes. But as with stamps, I assume that there are also specialized information that goes along with identifying the more valuable varieties of coins and banknotes. Is this correct ?
Grading is another matter. I have coin books that help show pictures of the various grades but not banknotes. This is an area where your knowledgeable experience will be much appreciated. I'll try to do the research before posting. And I hope I don't annoy you to much with newbie questions.
