Thanks all! jgenn, such a stunning 20 reales.. Cableguy, your 1916 20p looks great, I have it as well but only in ~VF. My 1923 20p indeed looks like pvc damaged, will give it an acetone bath :) I have assembled the full set of Moroccan Kingdom crowns, unfortunately most are not in the nicest condition: 1882, Paris Mint: 1896, Berlin mint (key type/date in the series with only 55k minted) 1902, Royal Mint: 1904, Paris Mint: 1911, Paris Mint: 1913, Paris Mint: 1918, Paris Mint:

Great set of 10 dirhams/rials, dulitu! I posted this one in the thread earlier, but I photographed it again after a really long acetone soak (it had a greenish tint before). I only have this one from Morocco. Do the others have stars on the edge?

This one is a 1764 E, Prussia thaler,Königsberg(now Kaliningrad) mint, one of the rarest Prussian Reichstaler coins of Frederick's third coinage, 1764-86, accordind to Kunker!

Dulitu - that's another great subset! I love this subset, especially the 1313 10 Dirhams. I believe I have 2 or 3 specimens in my collection.
Jgenn - If I am not mistaken, all have stars on the edge.
Paul - that is indeed a pretty scarce thaler; a very attractive piece! Is this a recent purchase?

cableguy Yes,it's my last one.Bought it three days ago on ebay, hit and run tactic, still don't know how I've managed to snatch it!Though it's not related to the topic I dare to ask you for a quick tip on toning methods that you use on your coins! If other members are willing to give a reply I'm more than happy to listen and learn!

Excellent catch, Paul! a rare coin for sure. I noticed acsearch only lists 3 recorded auction appearance.
Regarding your question about (re)-toning: placing the coins on a sunny window-sill is the only method that I would use - silver will eventually start re-toning. The process may take months or more often, years, as it is the closest you can get to the natural toning process.

When putting a coin in a sunny window sill to retone how often do you recommend flipping it?
