The new photos lead me to believe that something is not right with this 'coin'.

I'm too tired from a long 16 hour work day to pin-point specifics ... but 10 years of enjoying this series has now caused my 'authenticity' radar to buzz.

I'll come back to this thread later and add specifics of what my eyes see ... unless our other series experts nail it down first.

I'm leaning towards not authentic. Sorry OP

Beautiful coin and love the design. Late New Year's resolution, try to learn to grade MS commems. Lurk here and see some in hand at shows as much as possible.

Looks counterfeit to me...but if PCGS certified it then it must be real.

Concur .... and I humbly accept my written opinion above from 5 months ago as now corrected.
