It seems like this topic has digressed to Morgan-only posting. There were only three different coins posted for the whole of the year 1887 (excluding one duplicate) and only one was not a Morgan dollar. I realize that some coins from this year are quite pricey, but some are not. So far, 1884-5 is only represented by Morgans. Is the intended purpose being served here? I know people like Morgans, but the title says "Complete Collection."

You know how I feel. I said it back on page 101. With that being said, I have waited to post this because I have it. So here it is, another Morgan dollar.

I won't post any Morgans here from now on. I will post other types of coins that I have. Will resume posting in the 1870s.

It just seemed to be moving very quickly for the kind of coins needed to "complete" the set and required others to "catch up" and make the timeline very discontinuous. But, since I am not a participant in this, I'll follow jbuck in the "keeping my trap shut" corner.

Quote: It's a shame, the thread seemed to have great potential but has come off the tracks a bit. Just say the word! If you and Spruett want me to stop promoting the thread I'll end it tomorrow! I haven't seen you participating. It seems like the only ones complaining are those who aren't participating. Although NOT what he originally intended, I think if the OP were ever to return to CCF he would be happy to see this thread didn't die in his absence. So let speak up or shut up.
