Quote: Just say the word! If you and Spruett want me to stop promoting the thread I'll end it tomorrow! I didn't realize I was addressing my statement to you personally. Don't get emotional....bro! Quote: It seems like the only ones complaining are those who aren't participating. Was I complaining? It was a statement not a complaint! Quote: I haven't seen you participating. If you take the time to look back through the thread, you'll see that I have been participating. Quote: Although NOT what he originally intended, That was my point.

20 dollars -- 1883-S: (I have a small number of bullion quality (low grade) gold coins from 1879 through 1883 (and beyond). From 1860 to 1877, most dates of US gold coins are not so common (and are not usually sold as bullion coins).

It would be really nice to have you participate, bro! I wish I could, but I have very few Classic coins. I can post this poor gal for '83: I think I have four other U.S. coins that are older, maybe five. (and they look the part! )

Quote: Thanks Mark1959! I think bro MikeF has an attitude! Oh C'mon, man! Cut drama and the crap. It was really nice to see you post a coin. And I'm sorry that I didn't dig through the history of the thread to look for your participation. That said, my comment got Spruitt and you to start contributing again! And I feel it's a huge bonus to have some heavy hitters contributing again. Remember, all I'm trying to do by promoting this thread is to keep it alive and create another opportunity for members to share their coins. But it does get a bit aggravating when you hear negative comments from folks who are not currently participating. Speaking of which, Mark, where is your participation of late. It would be really nice to have you participate as well. Currently we are on 83 but you are welcome to catch up anytime!

I'm not complaining, just that I don't want to overload this thread with Morgans. But I will post any other classic coin that I have.

Post what ever you have Silver Dollar and don't worry about it. Here's another Morgan.

Quote: And I feel it's a huge bonus to have some heavy hitters contributing again. I am in no way a "heavy hitter." I hope to have many of these coins in the future, but how distant that future is unknown. Quote: I don't want to overload this thread with Morgans. I think the Morgan dollar is a masterpiece of design and engraving for a circulating coin and would never discourage interest in them or sharing them. I guess what I was really pointing out was the lack of interest in, or showing of, other contemporaneous series. I will try to post the remaining coins I can, and you know what? The next is an 1881-O Morgan.
