Quote: what is the stance of commemorative coins in this thread? I don't think the OP would mind. I think it would give the thread a little more character.

Quote: I never like Franklins but put together a circulated Dansco and they actually look pretty nice - and easy to do. I think I might do that. I think a circulated set of Franklin's with all the same consistency, grade or luster would look great. Not an album with up and down scattered high luster and dull finishes through out the album. What do you think Mark?

I say go for it - they look real nice and circulated Franklins are easy on the pockets too. Even the "bugs Bunny" is easy to obtain to plug one of the extra holes..

Quote: muddler:But reading the original post it says commemorative coins are ok in one parograph then excluded in another, what is the stance of commemorative coins in this thread? The more people posting, the better the thread is.(IMHO) Quote: USSID18:Jim Ryan: The first American High School'er to break the 4 minute mile! 50+ years ago! Unbelievable! Ah, OK! Yeah, He was a little before My time. 50 years ago I was still plunking around, with a BB gun, out on the farm.I think there was something about it on the news stations, both of 'em, now that I think about it.
