No, it must have been weakly struck or the die had some grease in it.

I'd like to see a '49-S quarter. According too the Red-book, and the Blue-book, there wasn't a San Francisco minted quarter in 1949.Just the Philadelphia and Denver minted ones.
So we only need a Philly quarter.

No problems! I was at the LCS the other day looking for a P and the S, and I wondered why He looked at Me funny. So when I got home I looked it up.Otherwise I wouldn't have caught it.
