I think I had a few of those Sears medals awhile back. Got them as part of a bulk lot and saved them because Sears was my go-to department store for many, many years. I'll miss them.
But, what does the token mean by "Contains Authentic Material"? Is it a reference to the medal? Or was that a Sears slogan I don't remember?

My guess and only a guess, it was 1986 which was also the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. So maybe this was made from copper taken from the restoration of the statue.
