Cdncoins Pillar of the Community Canada 999 Posts	Posted 01/09/2024 1:43 pm This token is not in the best shape, but I didn't even know it existed until seeing it for sale on ebay. It might be from the 1970's. I bought it to go with my Toronto City Hall theme collection. I have a similar one from Fred Beavis that I posted here. http://goccf.com/t/301479&whichpage=252#3772564 I really can't find anything about this online. Not much on Harold Menzies either, other than a poster from the 1945 election where it claimed that all the other candidates in his ward were communists. I've seen many versions of this, with various dates in the 1920s from a variety of cities. At 73 mm and 107 g, they are often described as paperweights. Note the swastikas in Liberty's headband.
