Not sure if that is helpful with what you noted about the "texture" thing. Edit: Originally I left them in Verdi-Care for about 10 minutes, then carefully blotted (not wiped) them dry with a coin cloth. Is that not long enough of a soak? Should I try 30 minutes/an hour/overnight? Would it help if I do an acetone bath for them first to loosen up the crud? I have soaked coins overnight in it (only because I forgot) but usually an hour or so per side is good, everybody has there own preference so I guess it's a learning thing.
