Interesting Strike Doubling *more Photos*

I'll try to rattle my brain and try to figure it out. I know there's a doubled die reverse for the 1870, but it's pretty drastic on the S in cents and on some of the reverse stars. I'm pretty sure it's not this. I've also looked in my other resources and nothing is listed but they are a bit dated. Close up photos coming soon. Report this Post to the Staff

But the manner in which the doubling completely surrounds the letters of IN GOD would indicate that it's something other than a doubled die. Error coin writer and researcher. It looks to me like there is significant die wear causing most of what is seen around "IN GOD", but there is also MD in the "TRUST". It always gets fun when there is more than one thing going on.
