*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. Titles are Important! ***

I have been studying the Wexler site to make myself more aware of the types of errors that are mint made. Here is a 1952 S penny that has an S that appears to be inverted. The trumpet is at the top and the Ball Serif S appears at the bottom. The second image is from the Wexler site for an inverted 46 5 What do you think.

Tks

Apples to oranges comparison, 46s is the ball or "sans serif", one of three styles for the year, other two were the ball/serif (like the 52s of yours) and serif. 46s is the inverted one.

Check out coppercoins site on RPMs for 46S, You'll see the difference better.
