Quote:Jeepers, maybe ebay isn't such a wretched hive of scum and villainy after all. Maybe. Sometimes it's just people who don't know any better! (The first entry on this thread was a 1950 Proof Set purchased for $9.95)

Had a nice score of War Nickels and proofs. $11.46 for an 8 coin lot. Four typical proofs across the top, three War Nickels, and a 1951-D kicker. I actually bid before I left for a charity event, so I figured I wouldn't win the auction. The gems are the three War Nickels: 1942, 1944, 1945-P. In the photos, they looked like high AU coins, but the '42 and '45 are uncirculated and have that pleasing War Nickel light gold toning. Bonus: five free capsules and three free cases, they weren't in the pics. =)

More cheap silver delivered today! This one is really crazy. Seller listed several lots of coins in error as multiple lots available (A Franklin lot, a Walker lot as well as this Kennedy lot). All the lots of Franklins and Walkers sold out quick even though only one was available. I was lucky enough to be first buyer of Kennedy lot so I got it delivered for $50.00. (15- 90% and 4-40%). Also got the RedBook round for less than melt.

First Off, Seller was supposed to Ship Priority Mail, shipped UPS Ground signature confirmation. Fedex and UPS can't ever get it right. Deliveries are usually made to one of my 3 neighbors houses instead of mine. After sitting here all morning waiting, I get an email about an attempted delivery and had to go chase the driver down. Deal on gold this time, first in awhile (sadly I had to pay tax on this one). $1014.13 delivered (current melt $1244.13)
