These both look at least AU-50. What do others think on grade...and on originality? Do the surfaces on Coin #1 likely indicate a cleaning? Thanks.

Top one looks XF to me, maybe cleaned.
Bottom one looks more AU, poor pics but I think I see mint luster left.

Your two different photos are throwing us off . 1st. pic ,AU-50 Details ( cleaned ). 2nd. pick looks AU-58 Straight .

Coin #2 sold on ebay within about 1 day, and I didn't even see it until after it sold: 222867188080
Goes to show you need to watch ebay like a hawk to find deals.

I agree Coin #1 looks to be a lower grade, and w/o any luster whatsoever it seems hard to make it above a low AU (if that).
