Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 12/30/2005 11:26 pm Jack Sorry the 1859 is a thick planchet, I was confusing myself, our coins are the same, Variety 1 ,, they are quite a bit thicker than when the standards changed in 1864. variety 1+2- 4.67 grams variety 3- 3.11 grams Rick Edited by Metalman 12/30/2005 11:45 pm Report this Post to the Staff
