Have an 1877-S Trade dollar, weighs 26.88 grams, local gold/silver buying shop X-ray reads 88% silver 12% copper. I'm not sure it would be worth sending to TPG to verify authenticity, what do you think? Looks like it may have been in a bezel as jewelry.

Genuine I think, bezel mounted a good guess, and not worth submission given the damage.

the coin has the type 2 obverse and reverse. looks about fine 15 but details with rim damage.

Good as to authenticity. Bad as to grade and condition.

Definitely not a TPG submission candidate.
