What is a "greacer" ?
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Greaser, , I guess it is pretty much an Americanism.
ace_ftw is the only Canadian to use this word in almost four years, yet it appears in the US forums at least once a week often daily.
Should we mimic our southern neighbors and add this word to our numismatic lexicon?

I'm American and have collected for almost 50 years and never heard the term " Greaser" applied to coins ... but, then again, I've lived up here North of the border for the last 21 years. The only way I've heard the term is as a derogatory term for racial ethnicities and haven't even heard that in 25 years.

I searched CCF for " Greaser" and got three pages of results. 14 of the found topics are Canadian. I would call that common enough.
