Time for a bump. I got some new loons. This one is the silver plated 25th Annv. Loon, still in gift wrap. Good deal has me with 2 now. Scissor time perhaps? Note the "silver plated" logo. This makes this loon. These were struck this way, then plated. The mintage I can find is 8,890. I don't know of another SP/PA labelled loon. This one is from the 2018 Peace and Joy X-mas set. This one is in the 2012 O Canada set with the Taxali quarter. I got the set for the old style loonie and toonie. Anyone looking for the quarter? What else have you got lately?

Loonielewy - Interesting 25th anniversary coin. I'm not familiar with it. Was this an RCM issued coin or was it silver plated and counterstamped with SP/PA by a third party. Curious.

Hi tnt. Yes it's a RCM product. It comes in a sleeve with a pre-school fold up toy. It's titled "The Loonie turns 25". Will the toy be worth more than the coin some day? Time will tell. Get one when you can, they are nice. And that SP/PA logo (not a stamp) makes them.

Quote: Thought I had a complete list of all Loonies but I guess I need to add one. Don't see to many Americans liking loonies. Glad you do. Do you know of the gold plated loons? And I think you can find some lists of loons on CCF somewhere. Just to compare to yours. Good luck with your loonies.

to CCF. Hi EBrown, sounds like you like loonies too. Please post your pics, lets see what you got. It's not a competition here, just a spot for the lonely old forgotten loon to shine. Lots of members have WAY more loons than I, I just wish we could see more. Canuckl, that is a nice 2007. Did you get it from the set?

I've been trying to get my hands on a 2005 terry fox variety 4 no grass in MS condition but no luck thus far. There are a few on ebay but the quality is not there, tarnished or they're asking too much money for it. So I'm still on the hunt.
