Hello everybody. Came across this 1970 D small date I hope its a small date also has a Die crack on top of E in WE that's going down his head. Would this be a nice keeper.

Small date only applies to San Francisco minted coins. There was where the dies were modified.

I like it for the die crack (called a Spike Head). The date style for 1970 is of no significance unless it is an S-Mint.

The Spike Heads are catalogued on CudsOnCoins, and you may be able to find a match for yours here:

If there's no match, you could possibly have it attributed and add a new listing to the site!
