Do you have the '08 Silver Proof Set ordered yet ?...
I have the tab open and ready (It has been open all week!), but I have not bought anything yet. Still trying to decide if I want two or three. The third would be a backup I will keep in case he does something crazy and regrets, you know? If he manages to keep the original, I might give him the other one on his 21st birthday. What do you think?

I think you've got it perfectly worked out !..

I have a "back up" ordered for me even (subscription)......maybe for the same reasons !!..
My back up set is for many reasons really......
Possible sale when I'm retired
Possible sale in time of need (though I've never had to do that....knock on wood)
Possible gift to my nephew
Possible gift to my future step daughter (Samantha is going to be four Oct. 5th)
Possible gift to my future child
Or just two sets of the last of the SQ's for my inheritors !

Buffalo nickel.

What means I got a Buffalo nickel. 1919, date perfectly visible. One entry from the type set list crossed out.

Now I'll need a world-type-set-list. I'll get to compiling that tomorrow.

Toshiba Satellite L355d-S7815

Made a deal with the wife where if I cleaned up my desk and all the spare computers I could get a new laptop for home / work (In her defense my desk was starting to get a little out of control, and I can never get rid of an old computer if it still works).

Gave a P4 laptop to my niece, a P2 laptop to Goodwill, an AMD 64 Desktop to an English teacher my wife works with (whose been struggling along with a 486), and an AMD 2200 to one of my friends whose computer just went belly up and they aren't in the position to get a new one.

Also deep sixed about 2/3rds of my old files and other clutter which were filling up my desk drawers.

We're both happy now!!
