I was given a one dollar bill from Honduras to go with a 20 dollar bill I already had =)

everyone is very generous to new collectors where I'm from. I talked to an older gentleman for about an hour asking him to give me tips about coins and he ended up giving me all his old whitman albums for me to start up along with 10-12 Buffalo nickels

Bought a SLEW of Mint Sets and Souvenir sets today

here's the kicker... AT FACE!

All coins are in Mint cellos, some of them have individual coins missing from the set, but most of are complete.

7 Ikes
9 SBA
2 Sac
33 Kennedy's (including 1 65 and 3 69's)
50 Washingtons
47 Roosevelts
47 Jeffersons
51 Lincolns

That's more than $54 in face value... I paid $55!

And these don't look to be your normal run of the mill mint sets either... About half of them are I guess... But there are quite a few individual coins here which I wouldn't be surprised to see hit in the 65+ range.

Why doesn't that ever happen here?!
To make things worse the auction site "is experiencing problems" for the third day running and all I managed to win are the 2x2s
Rest in Peace

My first Cook Islands coin + a Hong Kong 10 cents that's actually not damaged (I wonder why their grade is usually so low), also I have received several State Quarters which aren't pictured since everyone knows how the look like (got about 10 altogether now).

Can't wait for those darn 2x2s so I can put these coins where they belong.

Now am I missing something?

Searched everywhere for a better piece of this type. Came up only with one that looks almost the same. Looks like they don't come any better here. Also, the verdict of the experts was: thumbs up
Not cleaned
