Vierer (2 Kreuzer) of Strasbourg as I picked up this year my only coin from Strasbourg, issued when the Vierer was replaced by the taler system Strasbourg, " Taler aux lions", not dated, (±1635) Davenport 5842 the coin is not rare, but the patina is special, it must have been in collections for a long time special is the contemporary setting for pendant (cable holding a rim-like band in which the coin is secured, two smaller cable rings attached on top for pendant)  details (some are shared with the Vierer): Obverse: coat-of-arms of the city, above which lily held by two lions NVMMVS * REIP * ARGENTORATENSIS : 3 hooks Reverse: large flowering lily SOLIVS* VIRTVTIS * FLOS * PERPETVVS : * (only the flower of virtue is immortal)  Edited by 1c5d7n5m
