A couple of additions to my Afghan type set (dealer's pics, not mine):

A 1904 Paisa counterstruck on an Iranian 50 Dinar. Originally part of the Spengler collection(if anyone can educate me on the significance of the name I would appreciate it).

A 1919 civic paisa. Very rare in this condition as these coins were made out of necessity.

The last of the Jefferson nickel varieties in the Red Book that are listed is on the way.
There's still a few other I am chasing but I now have an example of every Jefferson nickel ( including proofs ) in the 2010 Red Book Guide to US coins except .... You guessed it 2009 P and 2009 D circulation strikes. LATE EDIT: Oh yeah the 1971 No S Proof, still without that one.

Here's my latest 1949 D over S

No I am not, unless they are MS66 MS67 with full steps.
I won't buy a stock photo coin. I do believe someday I will find one as good as those in my change from McDonald's.
There is a daily 10 coin lot of P's for $40.00 almost every night and maybe one of those will suit me out of the 10. The rest I would trade or give away but I can't bring myself to pay for them.
Maybe it will take til next year but I don't want to look at my set and regret any of the coins I have in it.

Just think, not a single 2009 D showing up yet and I expect this scenerio to repeat itself next year and maybe the following. harumphhh!
