Quote: I thought this set would have sold out long ago with the high number of JFK half collectors out there. I guess there aren't as many half collectors as I thought there was? Quote: ..or collectors that aren't into Apollo coins and not willing to pay 54 bucks for their clad Kennedy...key word..."clad" ... now if they were silver it would be a totally different story I agree, the clad composition caused hesitation and silver would have likely sold out by now.

The Apollo 11 50th Anniversary 2019 Proof Half Dollar Set Mintage Limit: 750,000 (across all half dollar products)? Product Limit: 100,000 Household Order Limit: None Does this mean another 650,000 of the Kennedy Enhanced Reverse Proofs could be minted?

Quote: Does this mean another 650,000 of the Kennedy Enhanced Reverse Proofs could be minted? The Kennedy is it's own product, the 750k limit doesn't apply to it. They could make more than the 100k set limit but it would anger a lot of people if they did.

Yup...right now the Kennedy is maxed at 100k....could they put it in some other unannounced product? They could but it would be a tad lame of them to do that...

Director of the mint said there would only be 100k and no more released after that. Sleeper coin of the year as far as I'm concerned.

I hope I can be forgiven for not reading all 35 pages of this thread if this has already been answered, but has anyone found a magic method for getting the dollar coin out of the box? I have wrestled with these holders before, but this is a new level. It is so firmly stuck that I'm afraid whatever I do to get it out is going to damage the holder. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Current state of affairs: The halves set should be done very soon. And it seems people got tired of the wait for the 'saucer'.

Definitely can't blame anyone for cancelling they're orders. I did put in separate orders for two more 'cuz I won't get billed until they move into processing status..and I wanted to keep a raw one. My original 7 arrived in Sarasota yesterday for entombment
