habsguy Valued Member Canada 93 Posts	Posted 12/13/2018 7:47 pm These notes with the scalloped border were the first issued. They didnt last long and pulled because they were counterfeited and made into 4$ notes.They were making the number 1 into a 4.I even saw one displayed at the Ottawa museum.The newer note was issued later With a square black margin,the number 1 added to each corner and the word (one) written across the number 1.
