There are many beautiful coins and notes posted in this thread already. You should all be proud of your acquisitions! I have several "favorites" of my own for 2018, but after handling many well worn (even dateless) Walking Liberty halves as a kid, I really wanted an absolute gem for my collection. So here it is -- PCGS MS67 with a CAC green bean. It's hard to believe this one is as old as my sister!    |

@MikeF - Re the Thomas $5 Treasury note, that's just a straight scan from my old HP 2600 using the built-in Windows 10 system. Stop by the Banknotes Forum more often - I post a lot of paper money over there. Edited by Coinfrog

 Pick this one up back in April as a filler since it doesn't quite match the remainder of the series in extra-fine plus. Couldn't pass it by for $675 at a coin show.
